When should your first dental visit be???
It’s never too early to see our dental professional! Many children must learn at a young age proper dental/oral care. Dental decay is most common in children due to bad dental habits and poor nutritional choices. Damages to primary teeth can cause tooth aches, loosing teeth early which can cause delays in speech and physical growth.
Recommendations for children to see a dental profession starting at the age of 6 months! But as we know that is not realistic. We have many families who cannot afford treatment. Check out CINOT (Children in need of treatment) program for more information.
